Bike Frame Requirements
Your frame must:
- Have Quick Release / Bolt on dropouts so that the motor can be slotted in during installation. Any frame that uses a thru axle will not be compatible.
- Be a Large/XL Sized frame. Our batteries have a large capacity, meaning a larger physics size. Please check the dimensions of the battery that are displayed on each listing photo, to confirm that it will fit on your current frame.
- Not have rear suspension. Front suspension is fine but not rear! The rear shock will take up too much space in the frame for the battery.
- Be Disc-Brake compatible. All of our motor kits are supplied with standard, universal 6-bolt disc mounts. If your current frame uses a V-Brake (uses rim friction to stop), your frame is not suitable.
